Working Groups
- The Policy & Advocacy Working Group conducts research to better understand policy-related issues in Boston and advocates for desired policy changes at the local, state, and federal level.
- The Community Outreach, Education, and Engagement (COEE) Working Group promotes awareness of and engagement with BFAC’s efforts in the community. This may include tabling at community events and markets, conducting a needs assessment of the community, and creating communications and outreach materials for BFAC.
- The Fundraising Working Group supports BFAC’s mission by working to incorporate as a nonprofit, so we can begin to raise funds. This Working Group will eventually organize fundraisers, write grant applications, and more to generate revenue for BFAC's initiatives.
- The Mayor’s Food Access Agenda Working Group collaborates with and supports the Mayor’s Office of Food Access, gathering feedback on and taking on action items highlighted in the Mayor’s Food Access Agenda.
